Calella is one of the three resort towns close to the local market town of Palafrugell. The others are Tamariu and Llafranc. Calella is the largest of them. The village is completely charming and does not die in winter. There are little boats moored in the harbour, and a number of rather small and therefore over-crowded beaches. Restaurants abound, not necessarily high gastronomy, but completely acceptable with wonderful views. |
