Our view:

Probably the most expensive location on the Costa Brava. Houses the not very pretty Parador and the hugely popular and stylish Hotel Aiguebalava.

Attractive sandy beach with restaurants.

Shares facilities with neighbouring Fornells that confusingly houses the Hotel Aiguablava.

Houses here are mainly detached and many are owned by the super-rich from Barcelona and elsewhere in Spain.

Tends to be deserted out of season.
