Changeover day

We are generally flexible on changeover days and try to work around arrival and departure times as best we can.

Accommodation

Bedrooms:	Bedroom 1 with twin beds, built in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 with double bed, built in wardrobe.
Bathrooms:	Fully tiled bathroom with bath/shower over, bidet, basin, vanity unit and WC.
Kitchen:	American style kitchen with oven and hob, washing machine, microwave oven and fridge/freezer.
Living Rooms:	Lounge/Diner with dining table & chairs, sofabed, satellite TV, CD player.
Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service:	Accomodation includes towels (excluding beach) and bed linen. Apartment is cleaned prior to arrival. Additional clean linen/laundry/change (chargeable) available on request.

Outside

This upper apartment has its own private solarium, giving sun all day long. The lower terrace is also perfect for al fresco breakfasting or shade during hot days. The apartment overlooks beautiful open landscaped gardens and a communal pool is nearby. Development is securely gated and alarmed and has car parking.

Coast/Beach

The apartment is located just 4km/2.5 miles inland from some of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Spain. Blue flag of excellence, supervised beaches and picturesque coves at La Zenia, Cabo Roig, La Mata and Campoamor are family friendly and a 5-10 minute drive from the apartment. Marina's are located at Cabo Roig and Torrevieja.

Golf

Villamartin is home to three championship golf courses, Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor. Green fees range from £30-40 and all are within easy reach. The clubhouse and sports facilities are also available for non-golfers. The climate is regarded as being the healhiest in the world according to the World Health Organisation. The area is also well served by other courses such as La Finca, Hacienda and the famous La Manga on the Mar Menor.

Travel

Murcia and Alicante Airports are 15 and 35 miles respectively from Villamartin. Almost all budget airlines fly to both. Car Hire is available from both airports, or we can arrange airport transfers. A car is recommended for improved mobility but is not essential. Taxis abound at Villamartin Plaza and cost around 5 euros for trip to coast.

Distances

The nearest town is the traditional spanish coastal resort of Torrevieja, which is just 15 kms away and the city of Murcia, less than 50kms from Villamartin. There are several inland country parks, protected coastal environments and a wide range of commercial activities such as the water park at Torrevieja and Go-Karts at La Zenia, all within 30 minutes drive.

Further details

The Villamartin plaza, Los Dolses and Rioja centres are all a short stroll from apartment. A huge variety of restaurants, shops, banks, doctors, phamacies and foodstores are found. There are hypermarkets, shops restaurants, bars and nightclubs on the coastal road at La Zenia.
